Ok total noob here and just want to make sure I take the path of least resistance. I got this grill when my father in law retired out of state and left it with us.
I’d love to use it but it’s a mess inside. Take everything out? Pressure wash? Grill cleaning products?
I’m pretty sure this only cleaning this used to get was burn everything and scrape but it appears to have been a while.

Heat it up. HOT. Scrape with wire brush. Cook.
That looks like a Weber Genesis E/S 330 made between 2011-2016. Fortunately parts for this grill are pretty cheap if you’re willing to go third party on Amazon. When looking for parts, make sure you specify 2011-2016 b/c the Genesis line has gone through a lot of changes over the years.
If you want to clean, get a wire brush and a paint scraper. I actually find a paint scraper better to clean off stuff when it’s this bad.
