Saw this Matiz anchovies at my local supermarket, not technically canned as it was in the COLD section which was interesting. It’s ~$10 so not too bad, but curious if anyone has tried this before?

    I’m not at all familiar; so you eat these like sardines/Herring/mackerel? I’ve only had the super salty pizza topping kind of anchovies.

    white anchovies in vinegar are great! with rice they make for a lazy Filipino milkfish dupe

    I’ve only tried the Ortiz brand of boquerones, and wow what a treat! I think they taste best without excess brine so I do a little rinse and pat dry with paper towels (more fresh/less pickly tasting). Great on a Niçoise salad 👍
