My biggest go-tos are Lao Gan Ma, or sambal oelek (chili garlic sauce) from Huy Fong (the folks with the rooster label, better known for their sriracha).

Add some cucumber and that’s a very common lunch for me.

I saw everyone hyping up the chili crisps and got this exact brand and I gotta say I tried it and could not even finish the thing I put it on. I do not understand why so many people like it even the smell was off putting

Yesss, I love the chili oil, BUT don’t have a coughing fit and snort it out your nose. It’s quite painful. Lol

Im addicted to the Fly By Jing chili crisp. I’ve been told it’s not authentic, but holy shit I eat it on everything. May have to try this brand

Current faves are this Lao Gan Ma, momofuku’s (more expensive, crunch comes from sesame seeds) and Momoya chili oil with crunchy garlic (not very spicy but very crunchy and delicious)

I will eat a boot if there’s lao gan ma on it

Just put that combo on top of some rice and kimchi 🔥

I LOVE Lao Gan Ma – but S+B Chile Crisp with Fried Garlic is next level IMO
I thought these grilled sardines were not great – probably the artificial smoke flavor.
Try TJ’s calamari – that tin is amazing! 🙂
