Does anyone know why I have this brown spot on my flat rock? Have been using it for roughly a week.

*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?
*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?
Traeger on!

Did you season it? Did you clean and coat it with oil after every cook? These would be my first questions, and if you did welp I wouldn’t know. I don’t own a Traeger flat top but I do own a Blackstone.

Just looks like a spot with less seasoning than the other spots. Just keep cooking on it and before you put it away for the night, wipe cooking oil all over the surface. I’ve been using my blackstone that way for 5 years and haven’t had any issues.
