First tri-tip on my new Woodridge. Also new to Traeger. Cooked at 220 until it hit 125 and then seared it until about 130-135.

A little disappointed in the lack of smoke flavor. Some people said it might take a couple of cooks on the new Traeger until it starts getting more smoke. I just think I’ll have to get a smoke tube.

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

I just smoked my 1st tri-tip. I used a smoke tube and was happy with the results.
