Got a Weber kettle for my birthday. Never smoked anything so pork butt seemed fitting as it's very forgiving. 5lb butt 6-7 hours. It got to 160 then stalled. Wrapped it got to 190, opened the vents to get the kettle to 300 to try and get some more bark while it reaches 200. Pulled again wrapped and set in oven to rest for about a hour(couldn't wait lol). Gotta say for my first time I was happy. Family agreed lol.
How do yall think I did?

  1. Nice, looks good! Kettle is so versatile. If you can get B&B charcoal by you, give it a try.
