I’m staying at an Airbnb with a Traeger. I’m pretty sure these pellets got wet so I want to empty them. Any clue how to do that without a trap door? Is the only solution to get a screw driver and remove the whole thing? Thanks in advance

See if they have a vacuum stuffed away in a closet somewhere.

There is a trap door on the bottom back of where the pellets are stored. Open it up with a screwdriver. They will come rolling out. Or a other post mentioned vacuum.

There should be a trap door on back bottom of pellet box with silver screw u twist to open.. have a bag or bucket ready to catch em

When pellets get wet. They literally turn to sawdust in minutes. Test it out with a pellet and put some water on it. Based on your picture, those pellets look dry.

I unscrewed that safety cage on my smoker and left it off. Game changer

First off, those pellets don’t look like they’ve gotten wet. That is an old model without a hopper dump. Take the 4 screws out from the safety grate in picture one and remove the safety grate, and start scooping pellets out.

We removed the useless grate on the top. Scoop or vacuum the remaining pellets.

I use a kitty litter scoop when I use my smoker so I just don’t pour wood pellet dust on my hopper less risk of a fire

    Those aren’t wet…
If you are gonna trash them shop vac em. Or pull the grate off. And scoop em’out.

Take the safety cover off and vacuum out.
Make sure to put the cover back on since it’s not yours.

I have a tailgater smoker with no trapdoor. I scoop out all the pellets I can then run it long enough to ash the survivors.
