It was a last minute decision so it felt a bit rushed.I made a few errors but overall It came out tasting really good. What do you guys think?

    Looks good for the first time around! A bit on the dry side based on the photos but definitely good bark. I would say for next time around, try putting the probes near the middle or closer to the flat than the point. The other thing I personally do is I smoke with fat cap up instead of down.

    Good luck on the next few! It takes a bit before you get the hang of them!

    Sorry but it looks dry, you could tell when you could see the grain in the first pic..
    And there is zero fat on that thing .. there lies your issue

    Could you explain your cook on it? Temp/Time? Also what was your seasoning? I’ve done two now and wud love to help you as one beginner to another!
