ABC+ always delivers and that is especially true with this can. The trout is tender and meaty, the sauce is creamy, herby and garlicky.
This demands bread, it would love pasta 😉
I keep a few of these stocked as they have always been part of my "favorites" list and for good reason.
The mackerel version is equally delicious as well.

I like canned fish too, mostly sardines and kipper snacks, but not nearly as much as you. I guess I’m just happy you’re happy. The canned trout you’re reviewing looks good, not sure I’ll ever try it but that’s cool.
C’mon, ya savage ya. Warm this can just a little, and that sauce blossoms. I had this, warmed first in a bowl of hot water, over a plate of farro and porcini mushrooms.
Like al fredo…??! Now that would be quite a tin!! I knew that ABC+ and Jose Gourmet were the same company, but I didn’t know Ati Manel was part of that family, too. No wonder they all have the same level of great quality (although I wonder why they need so many names 😆). I’m going to be at De Laurenti later this week… I bet they will have this one!
