SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio – BarNone Wine Café has scheduled a Spanish wine tasting.
It’s noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 17.
Spanish wines offer some of the most affordable sippers on the market. Most of the wines at the tasting are red.
To be poured
• 2018 Campo Viejo Reserva – Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo
• 2005 Arvum Gran Reserva
• 2015 Serna Imperial Reserva 2015 – Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Garnacha
• 2021 Esteban Martin – Grenache-Syrah blend
• 2014 Logos II Priorat – red blend• 2018 Negre de Negres Priorat – Grenache, Carignan and Syrah
• 2018 Luno Monstant – red blend
• 2020 Nexus One Ribera del Duero – Tempranillo• Medrano Rioja
• Opera Blue Moscato
(Priorat and Rioja are Spanish regions.)
Cost is $10. Cheeses, olives and crackers will accompany the pours. Reservations are not needed.
