Right side lower band, out of the box. Figured I’d smear some mineral oil or flat black enamel on it. Should I even contact BBQGuys or KJ about it, is it worth dealing with them over it? It doesn’t bother me, as it’s hidden under the shelf when using it.

Looks like adhesive to me. Just wiat till you’ve used it ten or thwenty times. Blemishes, grease, smoke, dings, scratches, blackness.
