I mean that olive oil is a lot of the problem you’re not gonna eat all of it. I wanna eat these now.

I’m gonna take a guess and assume that the nutrition values consider the oil in them since octopus is a low fat seafood. The oil is gonna be a large chunk of the calories so it’s really gonna depend on how much you drain.

This is the definition of a healthy snack. Protein, fat, olive oil, and sodium which is not the enemy unless you have some specific health problems. Hell there are more than a few start up selling flavored salt in bags with additional minerals such as potassium.
Send it.

That looks like it’s for the entire tin and all the oil. Many companies provide nutrition info for the “drained” contents, assuming that the customer will drain the excess oil instead of eating it.
If you really wanted, you could drain the excess oil and weigh it with a food scale. Find out how many calories are in that many grams of oil and subtract that from the 470 calories.
It’s EVOO so it’s a pretty healthy fat

ngl I thought at first glance this was the package for a cool hair comb and I was disappointed when it wasn’t

Go watch ‘My Octopus Teacher’. Get a box of tissues ready. Also, you won’t want to eat these.

I’d have to inhale that in whole. Perfect meal or an addition to the charcuterie board.

That’s like a super healthy snack compared to most crap on store shelves. High protein, olive oil, garlic! It’s got everything. I’m a bit jealous

i just compared them to my sardines i eat several xs a wk and not much diff. flower brand moroccan spiced =olive oil fish a carrot a bay leaf a chili pepper salt and peppercorn and cloves= 310 cal 60 mg cholesterol 500 mg sodium 29 g protein. i mean i see a difference but unless your eating them for every meal every day or building muscle super human type muscles one can is meaningless. its a muscle not a fish or mammal i’m not very book smart but theres not much there so not much protein i don’t no why so many calories? anyway they are way to cool and smart to eat, what do they taste like? i don’t think id like the texture to slippery although it does sound kind of hot

I am missing some dietary science knowledge here but I didn’t think olive oil had that much saturated fat in it.

Remind me where it says that this is a healthy snack.
