Hot fried chicken nuggets with buttermilk ranch, hush puppies with cajun remoulade, and cocktail slushies. My partner got their negroni slushy while I went with the rotating special: the John Daly, which was pretty much just a boozy sweet tea.

Nuggets were really good. Really juicy, tender, and well-breaded hunks of chicken breast prepared Nashville style — even served atop a slice of white bread to absorb all the spicy hot oil the chicken comes drenched in.

all in all I give it a quaint little place / out of ten

Those hush puppies have improved so much since I used to go regularly in the mid 10’s. I stopped going when it became infested with unsupervised children and dogs, but the last few times I went this year it’s been great.

The Negroni slushies are so good. And I love their spicy chicken nugs. Nice open patio to hangout at and great for dogs too!

I’ve never had a bad time at Parson’s. It’s got a great outdoor section, and the food is good too. Lots to love.

Just had those exact drinks this week. Sooooo good! I love that place (minus the asshole hostess who really sucked).

Just had their fried fish sandwich. Might be my favorite on the menu.

Also went yesterday! Really hit the spot to have patio season back and the Negroni slushie slaps
