Specifically, looking for fajitas like you would find in Houston, at one of the Laurenzo family restaurants (El Tiempo Cantina or Ninfa’s). Unfortunately, I have lived here in Chicago for 8 years and nothing has come remotely close in the way of fajitas. Nor the tomatillo/avocado/cilantro “green sauce” that you find at tons of Houston area Tex Mex restaurants. I’ve been making my own to compensate.

I’ve found bomb ass tacos; and bomb ass true Mexican cuisine; those aren’t lacking here. But there’s an El Tiempo Cantina Fajita shaped hole in my heart that I would love to fill. Please help!
