We took a crack at some pork butt for pulled pork. We’ve done burgers, potatoes, hot dogs and other simple stuff in this Traeger, but hadn’t broken it in yet. Smoked it for 2 hours on super smoke at 225, 2 hours at 275, then wrapped and 2 more at 275. The smoking experience is drastically improved compared to our old tailgate model we ran into the ground.

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

  2. We used Balckstone Outlaw BBQ seasoning for the rub, then when we wrapped it did brown sugar, honest, more of that outlaw rub, and some vegan butter (kids are allergic to dairy).
