1st picture is before I got it. The rest show how well I got it cleaned up.

Neighbor was moving and I asked them how much they wanted for their smoker. Told them my wife had given me a budget of $200 to find a used smoker on Facebook or classified ads. They gave it to me for $150. The next morning I spent 3-4 hours pulling EVERYTHING apart and cleaning it. Scrubbed the whole thing inside and out. Got the paint to look like new with a food grade mineral oil that I rubbed all over the polished out the extra. The next day they sold me their blackstone for $50. Same story. Now I have the ultimate dad back porch setup!

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?
