Hey all, I posted here yesterday asking about a Marketplace listing where it “went up in flames”

Needed a DEEP clean but each of the components seemed to work while we chatted (didn’t ignite but let the auger prime, etc). The guy clearly never cleaned it as grease was spilling out of the drip chute and coated everywhere. Decided to take the gamble and brought her home. Disassembled the entire unit and spent a good 3+ hours cleaning it. Aside from some rust near the drip chute and on the drip tray, everything looks fantastic. Got to smoke tonight with everything I had purchased for my gas grill as I didn’t intent to have this, so just decided to send whatever we had.

Ribeye, zucchini squash, asparagus and peaches for dessert. Definitely have some learning but appreciate all the feedback from you all. $100 and some elbow grease well worth it

Oh, and cream cheese. Holy shit that’s amazing. Didn’t get a pic fast enough before my wife and son started to go to town on it

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

  2. Smoked cream cheese is one of the best effort vs. reward items that goes in a smoker

It appears you are missing the cap for your smoke stack. You may want to replace that
