What’s going on guys! Found this lil Tex at my local thrift store and got it on a Friday the 13th sale for $73! Posted on here and got some good feedback on YouTube videos on how to restore and off I went.

Hit the rust with a sander, and some rustoleum. Primed and painted with some semi gloss. Added new gaskets all around, as well the lava lid locks.

Tried to get the guy who 3D printed those controller brackets to send me one, but no dice. So I went with this model for the controller: https://a.co/d/dzUGgRGg

Currently still waiting on the controller, an rtd sensor, and draft induction fan.

Hoping to get the parts for the 4th and break it in with a brisket. Cheers fellas and happy smoking!

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

Wondering what primer and paint you used.

Many don’t handle heat very well.
