So excited to finally have a SMBC recipe that worked out for me!! I butchered it the first time and had buttercream soup that would slightly hold shape but looked constantly melting so I’ve been scared to try again – but thanks to some redditors uploading their personal recipes I did it!

  1. You are NOT alone in the struggle with SMBC. I’ve always had trouble with SMBC, IMBC, really any buttercream that needs egg whites! The cake looks absolutely gorgeous. I love the multi-tone blue piping along the borders, all twisty and crashing like the ocean!
