Beautiful dish! I know this is a plating subreddit but this dish sounds like something my fiancé would absolutely love with the tamarind, forbidden rice, and nectarine and was wondering if you’d be willing to share a rough recipe. I’d love to try making something like this.

Get rid of the stack, put the rice/salad to one side and hang the protein off one side of that. The sauce isn’t working, either add it to the salad or put it to one side in a boat for the customer to pour.
Flavour combinations sound great, I dig what you’re going for.

The lovely ono is covering the beautiful forbidden rice. Lean it against the rice tower or mound so both can shine. Use the vinaigrette to dress your greens. If the vin is meant for the ono as well, a light drizzle would be appropriate as long as you don’t cover those great grill marks.

For everyone saying this looks good and beautiful. Give your heads a shake.

I’d slice the protein real nice maybe a little on the bias and serve it alongside the rice, not on top. Also I’d put the sauce on the protein or on the side for dipping, not on the plate

If they’re Nigella seeds, I’d honestly send it back. But if it’s black sesame, fair does. But either way, that doesn’t look great. Otherwise, I’d smash that. Noice.
