Ingredients (serves 4 people):
350g Barilla Fusilli 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (or any oil of your choice)
2 cloves of garlic Parmesan cheese (for serving)
400g Barilla Basilico sauce
10 cherry tomatoes, quartered Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Preparation:
1. Prepare the cherry tomatoes & garlic: Cut the garlic & cherry tomatoes and place them in bowls. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, a pinch of salt and add the garlic, followed by the cherry tomatoes. Toss and set aside to marinate.
2. Cook the Farfalle: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the Barilla Fusilli and cook according to the package instructions.
3. Heat the Sauce: While the pasta cooks, heat the Barilla Basilico sauce in a separate pan over medium heat, bringing it to a simmer.
4. Combine: Once the farfalle is cooked, drain it and toss it with the heated Basilico sauce. Add the marinated cherry tomatoes and mix gently.
5. Serve: Plate the pasta and top each serving with grated Parmesan cheese, a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and fresh basil leaves.
