Add the grated potato and a pinch of salt to the dough and mix well. Form a dumpling with a hollow in the middle, place a plum or apricot in the hollow and add a sugar cube, then close the dumpling and shape it into a ball. We then let the dumplings simmer in boiling water for about 15 minutes. We melt butter with a few breadcrumbs and fry the dumplings well on all sides. Optionally, you can then add melted butter and a pinch of sugar mixed with cinnamon on top… Bon appétit Tom
