With the addition of the Cooking Update to Roblox’s Grow a Garden, a whole new range of food-themed pets has been added. The first week saw six pets added, and now the second week, with the Kitchen Storm Update, an additional five have been added to get your hands on.

Here’s a complete list of all the Food-type pets added to Grow a Garden, how to get them, and what their passive traits are.
We’re still unlocking all of the latest pets ourselves, so some of this information comes from the community and we’ll update it as we know more specifics.
Gourmet Egg Pets

Passive Trait: Every 77.98s, there is a 15.30% chance that a nearby fruit receives the Chilled or Frozen mutation.
Every 11.02s, it will fling sushi at a random pet and remove 1.20% of its hunger.

Passive Trait: Every 13.29m, it goes to a nearby fruit and begins to cook, which applies Pasta, Sauce, or Meatball mutations.

Passive Trait: Every 56.29m, it increases a random pet’s level by one. This ability cannot be mimicked or refreshed.
Chris P. Reward Pets
The following pets can be given as a possible reward from Chris P. when giving him food.

Passive Trait: All Food-type pets active in your garden gain an additional 1.71 XP per second.
Every 9.52m, it gains an additional 510.98 bonus experience.
Culinarian Chest Pets

Passive Trait: Every 5-120s, it emits an aura for 15s that grants a 2x chance for new fruit to grow as variants within a 15-stud radius.

Passive Trait: Every 20m to 240s, it drops an 8-16 stud radius of ketchup or mustard that lasts for 30-45 seconds.
Pets on the ketchup will gain 20-40% more experience, while pets on the mustard will get a 20-40% faster cooldown.

Passive Trait: Every 300-900s, there is a 20%+ chance that a nearby fruit will receive the Molton mutation.
Every 500-1,800s, there is a 10%+ chance that a nearby fruit will receive the Meteoric mutation.
Rat Connoisseur Reward Pets
The following pets have a chance to be given as a possible reward from the Food Connoisseur.

Passive Trait: Increases egg hatch speed by 20.74%.

Gorilla Chef
Passive Trait: If you have a Cooking Pot or Cooking Cauldron cosmetic in your garden, this pet will cook in it, and it grants a 5-10% chance that you will duplicate any food you cook.
