I feel like it needs something to tie everything together

Looks great, needs sauce! Either a smoother carrot puree and more on the plate, or a classic steak sauce, leaning to bordelaise but then I think it would need some color elsewhere.

Maybe later in some peeled cucumber or zucchini with the carrot for color?

Other than fondant potatoes are the most overrated potato dish I’ve ever had, this dish needs sauce.
Otherwise presentation looks pretty good. Somehow for me, something green is missing. I think a chimichurri would go great with the Dark Plate and the dark roasted surfaces

    This plate is gorgeous.

The cries for sauce are amateurish and can’t see the clean lines and the ability for these elements to stand on their own.

  6. Agreeing with the other comments that suggest adding something green to the plate. Perhaps a blistered pepper (eg. Shishito pepper)

Also, something about the beef looks odd to me. Like it’s mushy and stringy at the same time?
