Maybe your seeds have done it naturally (mutated) or maybe one got cross-pollinated somehow.

That’s because it got cross pollinated with some yellow variety. It’s hard trying to use seeds from plants you grew. You never really know if it’s actually going to be that exact plant

Growing San marzanos as well. All are normal, except one plant grows fruit that looks more like bell peppers than tomatoes. They’re not long and have four defined segments. Taste 100% the same. Have all the same properties as a San marzano. This yellow one, I’d be interested in trying. Maybe the acid levels are lower and would make a great sauce for people who have acid reflux.
