Ingredients
Chicken breast 1 lb
3 tbsp yogurt
3 tbsp oil (divided)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp tandoori masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Marinate the chicken for 30-60 min in the refrigerator

White Sauce:
1/2 cup Mayo
4 tbsp Yogurt
1 Garlic clove crushed
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp parsley chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black Pepper
Salt to taste
2 tbsp water or adjust

Hot sauce or sriracha

Yellow Rice:
4 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp garlic minced
2 cardamom
2 cinnamon sticks
1 chicken cube
1 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp heaped turmeric
2 cups Basmati rice (washed and soaked for 20 min)
4 cups hot water

For Salad:
Lettuce, onion, cucumber, chickpeas, tomatoes, salt, pepper, lemon juice, parsley

Preparation :
1. Marinate the Chicken with the mentioned spices above and keep it in the refrigerator for 30-60 min. In a pan add oil, cook chicken on high flame for 7 mins, until you see a nice color, cover and cook for 10 more minutes at medium heat, set aside.
2. For Rice ,In a wok add oil, butter, garlic, cardamom, cinnamon, chicken cubes and spices, saute for 2-3 min, add soaked rice, water, cover and cook for 10mins, medium heat, until water dries up, then lower heat and cook. Fluff them up with a fork/ spatula.

Hi everyone, welcome back to Rihanna’s Kitchen Corner. Today’s video I’m going to share a popular street food in New York City which is the hala cow chicken over rice. This can be seen all over the place in New York City. Here I’m sharing the recipe and you can make it easily at your home. In a bowl of chicken over rice, chicken is served with yellow rice and salad. [Music] For the marinade we need yogurt 3 tbspoon salt your taste paprika powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon turmeric powder half teaspoon tandoori masala or tikka masala 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tepoon oregano 1 teaspoon olive oil 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp spoon. Mix it well until everything combines together. [Music] Add one pound of chicken breast. Cut it into smalls size pieces and mix everything together until combines well. If you have time, you can marinate for like 30 to 60 minutes in the refrigerator. Otherwise, you can cook right away. [Music] Heat a pan and you can add 1 tbsp of olive oil. And then add the marinated chicken and cook it for like 7 minutes on high flame. [Music] Cover and cook for another 10 more minutes on medium flame. Once it’s ready, you can turn off the heat and set aside. [Music] For the rice, heat a pan, add 4 tbsp olive oil, 3 tbsp butter, and add two small sticks of cinnamon, green cardamom, four. Add one garlic clove minced, and give it a mix. And then you can add one chicken cube and give it a mix and cook for like 2 to 3 minutes. [Music] Add garlic powder 1 teaspoon, pepper powder, 1 teaspoon, salt to your taste, turmeric powder 1 teaspoon. And give it a mix. And then you can add soaked two cups of rice and mix it well. [Music] You can add four cups of hot water. Give it a mix. Once it starts bubbling, you can cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes. [Music] For the white sauce, we need half2 cup of mayonnaise, 4 tablespoons yogurt, garlic clove, one crushed, garlic powder, 1 teaspoon, pepper powder, half teaspoon, parsley leaves, 1 teaspoon, salt to your taste, water, 2 tbspoons or adjust, and add 1 tbsp lemon juice, biscuit ball, and till everything combined together and then you can transfer to a bottle and keep it refrigerate. [Music] After 10 minutes, you can open the lid and you can fluff the rice and then cover and uh let it rest for another 10 more minutes. [Music] For the salad, we need chopped lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, and chopped parsley. And you can add some drizzle of lemon juice and little bit salt and pepper. [Music] Now we can assemble the bowl. First you can add the cooked rice on the side. Then you can place the cooked chicken on top and then salad on the side. The finally you can drizzle some white sauce and Sriracha on top. [Music] yummy delicious halal cut chicken over rice is ready to serve now. Thanks for watching everyone.   1. Next time put yogurt batter for sauce in a strainer and just spoon down and strain it out all the yogh better you will be very smooth and fine texture of your white sauce
