We’re having barbecue for dinner and I’m not in the mood for colelaw. I want onion rings. Start with peeling your onion. Everyone’s always asking me what knives I have. They’re Quez an art. I got them at Sam’s Club. Clean up your mess. Now get your slicer. I put mine on the thinnest setting cuz I like them real thin. And use the protective piece. Just do it. I like them thin like that. Now get a big bowl. Add two eggs. Skills. That’s skills. Add some buttermilk. Always smell your dairy products. Don’t trust that date. Swirl it up. Swirl it. Don’t stir it. Swirl it. Add the onions. Make sure they’re all submerged. Wash your hands. Cover them and put them in the fridge for at least an hour. Start heating up the oil. This is my favorite breading. I use it on everything. Add it to a bowl. Get your onions out the fridge. Shake them off as much as you can and put them in the flour. Toss them around. And there you go. I like to keep the heat a little lower than normal cuz I want these to cook slower so the onion can cook in the center and the batter doesn’t burn too much. Add them in real careful. They don’t take long. There’s a camera. You going to find it. Well, realize it was there.

  4. try ice cream mix for you wet side of the dip vanilla ice cream mix, cornmeal for dry side after first coat place in freezer then after frozen dip and bread again then fry

  6. Well crap. I for got to use buttermilk and I do have some. I used regular milk. Aw well. We’ll see. I know the buttermilk would have held this seasoning on better, but it’s ok, I’m not bitter…lol. I don’t have anything but fish fry. Gonna use that. It’s gonna be onion ring surprise. 😋

  7. One time, I DID NOT use the protector… i sliced my own index finger. Never again. I threw out the slicer & just do old school cutting

  9. We call this the finger slicer 😂first time I used on Xmas eve I didn’t use the protector one time and I paid for it with my tip of my finger smh so sharp I didn’t even feel it at first!
