The Nolensville Historical Society is proud to announce a Chili Cook-Off, a community event dedicated to bringing our community together for a day of food, fun, and friendly competition.
The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. (Judging begins at 3 p.m.) at The Nolensville Historic School Gym.
Chili enthusiasts from across the region are invited to compete for top honors, including Mayor’s Choice, People’s Choice, first, second and third place and Best Display. The event will also include a bake sale with homemade goodies, and grilled cheese sandwiches. The Historic Nolensville Museum will be open during this event.
“There’s nothing quite like a warm bowl of chili to bring a community together, especially when it’s for a great cause,” said NHS President and Museum Director Michelle W. Jenkins. “We are thrilled to host this community event and look forward to tasting all the unique recipes our talented cooks bring to the table”.
Event Highlights Include:
• A variety of chilis to taste and or choose
• Fixins – cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, crackers and Fritos, etc.
• Grilled cheese
• Cornbread
• A variety of desserts
• All proceeds from the event will go directly to The Nolensville Historical Society.
How to Participate:
• Competitors: Those interested in showcasing their secret family recipe can register online at https://nolensvillehistoricalsociety.org/ by November 7th 2025 (Scroll down to download application form with payment link and details on where to send). An entry fee of $25.00 applies. Cooks should be prepared to provide approximately two gallons/40 servings for the public tasting. Competitor Space is limited, so apply today!
• Attendees: Admission to this event is free. All proceeds from sales at the event will go to the Nolensville Historical Society.
