Eastchester Fish Gourmet

Voted the top seafood spot in Westchester in our 2025 Best of Westchester Awards, Eastchester Fish Gourmet serves both innovative and delicious cuisine. This award-winning fine dining restaurant has been serving the Westchester community for over 40 years.

What we’re having: Eastchester Fish Gourmet serves a two-course dinner menu for $44.95. Go for the wild mussels with a delectable white wine broth to start, then make your way toward the market fish special to enjoy the chef’s special crafted following a nightly trip to the New Fulton Fish Market. And, let’s not forget about dessert. With options like a banana ice cream sundae with homemade whipped cream or pumpkin bread pudding, it’s not easy to choose just one.

Half Moon

1 High Street, Dobbs Ferry; 914.693.4130

At Half Moon, visitors have the chance to experience both exquisite dining and magnificent views of the Hudson River. Located on the waterfront, Half Moon is known for its raw bar and fresh Montauk seafood. Whether you choose to sip a specialty cocktail outdoors enjoying the sunset or indoors, you won’t soon forget the alluring ambience at Half Moon.

What we’re having: Half Moon serves both lunch and dinner prix-fixe menus. On the lunch menu, guests can choose from one appetizer, entree, and dessert for $39.95 per person. We recommend the Mediterranean salad with grilled marinated vegetables to start and the plancha seared salmon as the main entree. The chocolate mousse cake with caramel sauce and whipped cream won’t disappoint for dessert.

For dinner, order half a dozen oysters to start, followed seared rare tuna basquaise as an entree, for $44.95 per person. Make sure to leave room for dessert to savor the classic cheesecake with berry compote. Guests can also add four tapas to the prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus for $6 extra.

Hudson Farmer and the Fish

11 River Street, Sleepy Hollow; 914.631.8380

Hudson Farmer and the Fish is situated on the RiverWalk in charming Sleepy Hollow, bringing a New England feel to the Hudson River waterfront. Hudson Farmer and the Fish serves seasonal specialties from its four-acre farm in Purdys along with a full raw bar. This seafood spot brings a farm-to-table ambiance via an open kitchen with a chef counter and optional outdoor dining.

What we’re having: Hudson Farmer and the Fish serves special lunch and dinner menus this fall. For lunch, select the soup of the day — a quintessential fall dish. We have our eyes laser-focused on the fish and chips packed with rich flavors including beer-battered fish, vinegar slaw, and farmers’ tartar slaw as the main course. For dinner, opt for the raw bar sampler featuring oysters, clams, and a shrimp cocktail. The Thai fish tacos with flour tortillas are a must-try. Don’t miss out on the chef’s dessert selections for lunch and dinner.

Kenny’s on the Water

2 Pelham Road, New Rochelle; 914.999.4918

Kenny’s on the Water serves some of the finest seafood with a beautiful view of the Long Island Sound in New Rochelle.

What we’re having: Starting with lunch at $29.95 per person, guests can enjoy three courses along with a special toast to HVRW at this seafood spot. The mussels and shrimp are a solid choice for the first course, and we recommend the linguine alle vongole with littleneck claims as the second course for lunch. The third course has three dessert options: tiramisu, a scoop of ice cream or sorbet, or New York cheesecake. Toast to a good (lunch) time with a glass of pinot gris or fall sangria — your pick! For dinner, start with the eggplant caprese and then go for the shrimp al limone. Don’t leave without trying the homemade caramel bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. End the night with a crisp glass of cabernet.

Lenny’s North Seafood & Steakhouse

386 Main Street, Armonk; 914.273.8686

For over 25 years, Lenny’s North has been serving prime-aged steaks, homemade pastas, and fresh seafood in Armonk.

What we’re having: For lunch, we recommend starting with the lobster bisque before moving to the creative entrees. The cavatalli Bolognese sounds like a delight — it’s sauteed with Bolognese meat sauce and chopped Italian sweet sausage. Dinner is also a catch at Lenny’s North. Select the iceberg wedge salad for dinner, and choose the vitello Lenny’s with veal, fresh lemon, and green peas as the second course. The key lime pie for dessert is the perfect nightcap.

Lenny’s Seafood & Steakhouse

2047 Boston Post Road, Larchmont; 914.630.7800

Lenny’s Seafood & Steakhouse proves it’s possible to serve award-winning Italian seafood and steaks all in one place (or two, if you count its Stamford, CT location). At Lenny’s, every guest is treated with careful attention for a memorable dining experience.

What we’re having: For lunch or dinner, start with the tuna tartar to save room for the main course. We recommend trying the chicken Castello, which is a grilled chicken breast with artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes served with hot cherry peppers in a white sauce. Save room for dessert to order the coconut sorbet with a choice of coffee or tea.
