Was cleaning my Traeger for a cook this weekend, using Dawn Powerwash to get some of the clumped grease off the inside.

I was cleaning the edge of the drum and noticed I was scraping up this sort of rubber/felt-like gasket where the side of the drum meets the pellet channel.

Any idea if this is a big issue that could affect cooks? Anyone had to replace that gasket-like material before? I looked at the Pro 22 parts list but didn’t see anything that could be it.

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

Looks like it could be a fibreglass type gasket. Unless you accidentally removed too much and broke the seal. I wouldn’t worry
