TLDR; Big storm blew through last night and blew the pro 22 off of the patio. Should I check with traeger, try to repair or replace?

Storm blew my Pro 22 off of the patio last night. It landed on the chimney side and rolled over. As you can see the drum is bent on both sides, the door will not close and the chimney's bent.

Obviously some parts are replaceable, but any hidden damage is unknown to the hopper, auger, electronics, etc.

Is it worth it to reach out to traeger and cross my fingers? Should I check around on replacement parts, or should I bite the bullet and replace it?

Additional context, this was my first Father's Day gift from my wife so somehow fixing it would be important.

Turn it around and wait for the next storm.

If you’re still under warranty, always good to check with Traeger. Otherwise, I’d try to repair before ditching it. Have you tried to fire it up yet to check on the auger, ecc.?

If there is other damage to the house, consider the insurance claim. If not maybe Traeger will be nice. Or use the scrap metal money towards a new one.

What’s traeger got to do with this? A storm blew it over?

Man see if it fires up and if it does let it smoke so you can see trouble spots and repair that first, chimney you can get a new if can’t fix its usually two bolts and a gasket. I would definitely take a rubber mallet to and a pair of vice grips for bending gently and if you cover after use you dont need the cap on chimney but usually screws in. Good luck. Its a smoker so its gonna puff out somewhere but looks in good shape
