Sweet Chilli Sauce
Ingredients
30g x Red chillies
6 x Cloves Minced Garlic
100ml x Water
100g White sugar
80ml x Cider vinegar
1 tsp Salt
10g x Cornflour/Cornstarch ( mix with 20ml x water )
Method
Blend the red chillies, garlic and 100ml of water until roughly chopped and transfer into a saucepan
add in the sugar, cider vinegar and salt. Simmer over low heat for 4 to 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
Mix 10g of cornstarch with 20ml of cold water and pour it into the pan. Stir over the heat until it thickens. Leave to cool and store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
