So, it’s pasta night at the sorority house. We’re doing Italian sausage and peppers. This one seriously hits home for me. It’s one of my all-time favorite meals. So, I get my sausage all chopped up. We’re going to get the bell peppers the same way. I’m just putting a rough chop on these. I don’t need them cut any particular way. Everything’s prepped. Little oil in my pan. And I throw down my sausage. Just going to start cooking this. Let it start releasing a little bit of that juice. We’ll go ahead and add in our peppers. Give that a little stir around. Mix this all up. We want all this to start kind of cooking together. We’re going to season it with some salt. I got some cracked black pepper. I’m going to go in with some oregano. I’ve also got some Italian seasoning, couple of bay leaves, and just for a little bit of spice, I have some red chili flakes. Give that another nice stir. We’re going to add in a little bit of garlic. I have it pureeed. I’m just going to kind of stir that around. All these flavors are starting to bloom. I’m going to add my crushed tomatoes. We’re going to let this start simmering. Let it go for hour, 2 hours. Give it as long as it takes. All those flavors will come together. The sausage will cook. The peppers will break down. So, let’s plate it up. I got a little pasta and some hot water. I’m going to heat that up. Strain it out. Throw it down in my bowl. I come over here to my sausage and peppers. Get a couple big scoops right on there, guys. We’re going to finish that up with a little Parmesan cheese. Just like that. Throw on some bread. Man, what a treat. Thanks for watching.
