Made a honey pot cake for my baby’s Winnie the Pooh themed birthday! Caramel frosting, vanilla cake and vanilla pastry cream filling. I also made honey pot and bee cake pops (funfetti box mix to save time) and cupcakes with white chocolate honeycomb candies on top. Turned out pretty good but I learned a TON from this baking adventure. I would have smoothed out the frosting a bit more, baked the cakes for less time since I always tend to over bake them, and overall I’d take my time if I were to do it again. I was a little rushed and you can definitely see it in the writing and little details. At the end of the day I’m pretty proud of this one.
Inspo for the cake was from Pinterest so I’m unsure of the original creator of the design otherwise I’d give them a shoutout.
