This is my first time trying to actually plate my food. My husband and I enjoy eating at fancy restaurants when we head out of Saskatchewan to a bigger city. I absolutely love to cook. One day I’d love to cook for local small dinner parties!

People here will have critiques in it as if your a michelij star chef,but for a home cook, if you enjoyed the meal. Good job
Looks pretty good. Sounds very good. Visually I might move the carrots next to the broccolini as I don’t like them just leaning naked there. I might also try cutting the carrots a different shape (like oblique) since the fish and broc are already long things. Keep on!
This is great for a home cooked meal. It looks super nutritious, and like something I would want to eat.
But the rockfish and the gratin are too similar in color. Maybe plate the carrots and broccoli on top of the gratin and the fish to the side?
