This was a birthday cake for a friend’s little sister! She requested a chocolate cake with a medieval theme for the decorations. She also gave me creative freedom so I was finally able to try out a stained glass design I’ve had saved on Pinterest for years😆

    Also, please tell me, are the roses and leaves elevated above the blue (like did you add those after a blue base coat) or is that all one level you had to get smooth without smudging it?

    how do you transfer the pattern on there so that you can pipe it evenly? it’s so centered and even. or do you just eyeball it? do you use oil based food coloring to paint it on there? the effect is so cool.
