Guys, I’m in Monterey. I got shrimp and we’re making shrimp cocktail. First things first, we’re going to cook the shrimp. I got boiling water and I’m going to drop in some salt. I throw the shrimp into the boil. And then I turn the heat off. I’m going to let those swim around for about 2 or 3 minutes. Drain them out. And we’re going to go straight into a bowl. I’m going to leave a little bit of that liquid in there cuz that’s going to add great flavor. Now we start adding the goods. I got spicy V8. That’s going to add a little bite. Just pour some of that right on top. And then we want some sweetness in there, too. So, I’m adding some ketchup. Couple big squirts, guys. That’s the base. Now, we’re going to fix it up. So, I got my veggies. I’m just going to throw those all in. They’re all diced up. I got tomatoes, red onions, avocado, some cucumber, and a little jalapeno. We finished with cilantro. We’re going to season it up. I got salt, black pepper. I’m in a Airbnb, so I’m just using what I have here, guys. I also have a little taheen. Next, we’re going to go in with a little Tabasco. That’s going to add a little kick at the end. We’re going to finish with a couple squeezes of fresh lime juice. That’s going to be perfect. Once that’s in there, we’re going to go ahead and stir this whole thing up. Get it all mixed around. Make sure everything’s really well coated. Get all those veggies in there and broken up. Guys, that’s going to be perfect. Look at that. I’m going to use some Tostito chips for mine today. I grab a little bit of that sauce with all the veggies in it. Throw me a shrimp right on top. I take a taste. This was absolutely delicious. The V8 has a nice kick to it. You can use a regular uh V8, not spicy if you don’t want it that hot. But man, that is just the perfect heat level. All the veggies are super fresh. What a treat. Cheers everyone.

  1. I use the skins after a good wash add some salt and lemons squeezed toss them in boil for 20/30 mins then follow chef's steps πŸͺœβ€

  2. Try this guys. You can keep a bit of the shrimp water or not, up to you. But use 1/2 V8 & 1/2 Clamato Juice and TapatΓo instead of Tabasco. Trust me, you won’t regret it. With some Saltines and Dos Equis XX lager or a Stella. Buen provecho. You’re welcome. 😊

  3. Tip: cocktail shrimp (tiny). Ditch v8 (WTF) botanera sauce instead (Buffalo, San Luis). Cucumbers (I guess). Some Maggi sauce. Easy on the ketchup.

  4. That has to be good. πŸŽ‰ Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Kevmo!πŸŽ„πŸ₯³πŸ•ŠπŸ™πŸŽ‰β€οΈ
