

Found this Pro 22 on FB marketplace for a steal and had hardly been used. Decided to pull the trigger and grab it after wanting a pellet smoker for a couple years now. Before this, I had been smoking on an Oklahoma Joe Bronco. I really do enjoy the art that is a stick burner but this 22 sure did well!
Smoking a pork butt tomorrow for the wife’s birthday (her yearly request). I wanted at least one run with this smoker before smoking that pork butt.
I’ve smoke plenty of pork butts and I’m looking for any small tips y’all may have. TIA and happy smoking 🤙🏼

Nothing to add but – those ribs look great! How long did you smoke them / cook for? Marinade prior? I may try and replicate – haha.
For pork butt, I use a fat separator when mixing the foil jus back into the pulled pork. Makes the end result a whole lot less greasier.
