You start with chicken, shiitake, and tofu soup, then move on to karaage with pickled radish. You finish with fried egg, soy-cured salmon, and grilled eel, served with rice, wakame, and edamame.

Following this order helps ensure that each dish doesn’t overpower the flavors of the next… I think 😆! I didn’t go to culinary school or work in any high-end kitchens, so everything I make and say is just based on my own experience..

    The mushrooms in broth in that particular bowl make it all look like an alien head. Or maybe salad fingers.
