The service = spectacular! The food = outstanding and the wine = fabulous. Was a bucket list item for me to dine here and I’m so glad/proud I was able to do it. My highlight was the halibut – the mushroom flavour was out of this world

I love Le Bern and have been 4 or 5 times. Disappointed to see the pour plating and un-sharp edges on several of your plates. Not befitting of a 3 star spot. Thanks for sharing though

Am I the only person who is a little irritated by the formatting of the wine pairings that go along with these dishes? Practically every entry presents the key information required in a different order, and with wildly different levels of detail.
I’m sure it seems like a minor complaint, but when you’re parting with an extra $255 for the pairing—and I’m certain you wouldn’t get nine full glasses for that price—you’d want to know that the wine program is taken seriously, and mistakes like that make it look relatively amateur.
LB has earned its spot in the fine dining hall of fame, no doubt. That being said, judging from pictures this does look a bit like the food at a 200 person wedding.
That Nori crisp looks so good
