Going for the full charred salsa tonight.

  1. * 1 sweet walla walla onion
    * 2x jalapeño
    * 1x cerrano
    * 2x red peppers that are shaped like jalapeño
    * 1x heirloom tomato
    * lots of garlic cloves

    Salted. Olive oiled. Broiled until charred.

    Mixed in a food processor. Added cilantro, bit of white vinegar, and lime juice.

    (Note: should have added 2 more tomatoes)

    I haven’t tried salsa with heirloom tomatoes, how did it compare to using other tomatoes?

    Heirloom tomatoes aren’t bad but garden fresh tomatoes are the best. I usually use beefsteak tomatoes when in season.
