So the restaurant team decided to partner with the World of Tiramisù – hosts of the Tiramisu World Cup – to compete for the Guinness World Records title for the largest display of Tiramisu varieties in the world, a difficult task that requires participants to prepare over 100 different versions of the delicacy.

Nevertheless, Marco was well-equipped for the challenge, and on 24 October he creatively assembled 160 variations of the Tiramisu – each differing in at least one main ingredient.

Displayed in front of a backdrop of the Roman Colosseum, their event combined gastronomy, art, and storytelling, transforming one of the world’s most beloved desserts into a living symbol of innovation and cultural heritage.

“Every Tiramisu created here tells a story of love for our culture and the joy of sharing it with the world,” said Marco.

Some of the incredible flavours that the chef invented included: a shimmering 18K gold, matcha, Moscow Mule, mango blackberry passionfruit, and pistachio chia cereal coconut.

There also were more traditional varieties on display, such as the Classic, coconut cookie, Bailey’s, strawberry, or pistachio – as well as fun new combinations like coconut mojito, pistachio cannella honey soy, banana avocado almond milk, limoncello cream, and mango pineapple coconut banana.

During the celebration, guests enjoyed tastings of all the incredible Tiramisu (we would need to be carried home!), a VIP evening party, and an exclusive showcase of Marco’s most acclaimed Tiramisu creations.

And of course, after the event the rest of the Tiramisu was generously shared with the public and local community in full compliance with Guinness World Records’ guidelines on food safety and zero waste.
