We have no idea where this mini whisk came from, but we use it all the time. It might have even come with a doll play set. Every time we use it, one of us says “where did we get this?? And how did we live without it. Anything that says to mix up with a fork, we end up pulling this gem out of our drawer.
What’s yours?

Mini spatula!!! I use mine every day, I’ve had it since I was 8 (I’m almost 24 so almost 16 years) and it’s still in perfect condition serving me well with my baking lol
I have a mini whisk just like that! I think mine was a favor at my friend’s bridal shower.
Mini silicone spatula. I have 6 and I love them for everything. Spreading butter, scooping sour cream, mixing sauces, etc. sometimes I use all 6 in a day.
Sharp knives! Growing up, we had ONE “sharp” knife and it was nothing like the ones I own now. Truly lifechanging
I have 4 I love them so much
I used to have a mini spatula that fit perfectly inside of a tomato paste can. This matters because I use tomato paste a lot and it’s really hard to get it all out of the can.
But it got lost in a move and I’ve never found one exactly the right size again, so I’ve learned to live without it.
If you’re in a similar predicament, you can open both ends of the tomato paste can, remove one side, and use the other side to push the paste out.
It’s not as elegant as a perfectly shaped spatula, but it’s efficient.
I love love my mini whisk. I also love my mini silicon spatula and the v small silicon tipped tongs.
My immersion blender
Bench scraper! Cutting things that don’t need a knife, cleaning off countertops, gathering herbs. I love it!
I love my mini whisk for mixing cornstarch and soy sauce in a small bowl for stir fry.
My milk frother. It comes in clutch for whisking dressings and marinades and whatnot. I guess the same kinda stuff you would use a mini whisk for, just motorized 😆
Cocktail forks; the long ones.
A [ball whisk.](https://www.surlatable.com/product/sur-la-table-stainless-steel-ball-whisk/6319107?mrkgadid=1&mrkgen=gpla&mrkgbflag=0&mrkgcat=cat&acctid=21700000001683301&dskeywordid=1967131408030&lid=92700076186156230&ds_s_kwgid=58700008255976838&ds_s_inventory_feed_id=97700000008343482&dsproductgroupid=1967131408030&product_id=6319107&merchid=5755698&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=online&storeid=%7Bproduct_store_id%7D&device=m&network=g&matchtype=&locationid=%7Bloc_phyiscal_ms%7D&creative=646720615861&targetid=pla-1967131408030&campaignid=206387981&adgroupid=144396845454&gclsrc=aw.ds&&affsrcid=AFF0005&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=&utm_campaign=206387981&creative=646720615861&device=m&matchtype=&nbt=nb%3Aadwords%3Ag%3A206387981%3A144396845454%3A646720615861&nb_adtype=pla&nb_kwd=&nb_ti=pla-1967131408030&nb_mi=5755698&nb_pc=online&nb_pi=6319107&nb_ppi=1967131408030&nb_placement=&nb_li_ms=&nb_lp_ms=&nb_fii=&nb_ap=&nb_mt=&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=206387981&gbraid=0AAAAADrD_Is_B066sOZfNjowzvkwCchQg&gclid=Cj0KCQiAkPzLBhD4ARIsAGfah8h9TLytGPQe4nKTAlu07TKHL_ufsieUjmHH4kzyo0g6tuJIKW8hdYUaAqceEALw_wcB)
When I need to whip whole eggs for a scramble, or mix together thin batters this whisk is great. It emulsifies more than incorporates air and I use it often.
Bamboo toast tongs. No more burnt fingers!
Where did you get this whisk!!? These are the ones I love and the only ones I have like this are from my mom and I haven’t been able to find more like it!
Mini strainer! Especially for straining and rinsing canned beans, but I use it all the time for an array of things. And a mandolin
Pizza roller…
Been years since I last used it for pizza but every dough I cut and every slice of cheese when I bake crackers for example is cut with my good reliable pizza roller. ☺️
I would love it if more people could share use cases for their mini whisks. I feel like so many people love them but I haven’t heard enough to push me over the edge yet…
I want to be convinced!!!
That looks like the mini whisks that would adorn Williams-Sonoma wrapping! Not sure if they still do it but they definitely did around 2010 or so.
A palm peeler
As in a veggie peeler you hold in your palm, with little grips that go around your fingers. [Like this one](https://www.lakeland.co.uk/19284/chefn-palm-peeler)
I’ve got bad hands so I would always lose grip, struggle, knick my fingers etc. Thanks to these, I haven’t had an accident in years. Bought a good quality one years ago and it still cuts so smoothly
Cooking Scissors ✂️ used multiple times a day!
A spring-loaded scoop! It’s great for portioning things (batters).
Metal ice cream scoops the ones with triggers. Perfect for pancake scooping, meatballs, cupcakes you name it.
My lemon zester, which is actually used for grating up the pills our dog won’t eat. We just “zest” the meds and mix it in his food. (We don’t use it for the people, that zester is all Mack’s) it works really well.
Mini whisk here too! Gets used every single day.
Pinch dishes. Perfect for mise en place of small things like salt and baking powder.
An ungodly number of spatulas both full sized and mini. The minis even have their own special canister they sit in. Somehow I can go through like ten spatulas in one bake. I don’t know how I functioned when I only had one! Oh, and one spatula dedicated to working with egg whites. It touches nothing else. Does not have a drop of grease on it. And it is hidden from the hubby who might not understand.
Bench scraper.
Cambros for bread dough fermenting. In different sizes. Because, you know, SD starter only needs a quart. Most doughs only need two quarts. But some doughs need that gigantic 4 quart cambro!
An extra Kitchen aid mixing bowl. Easily made a mousse today by using one to mix the whipped cream and another to mix the pate a bombe.
White medical tape that I use to label all my canisters.
Oh god. I have a problem, don’t I?!
My scale. I love it and use it every day
My tiny whisk came from a holiday cocoa kit I got as a work secret Santa gift one year. The coco was meh, but the whisk still lives with my kitchen stuff!
