Reminder to all commenters about Rule 6: No asking for recipes in a ‘No Recipe’ flaired post
If a post has the ‘No Recipe’ flair, you’re not allowed to ask for the recipe. This rule is to prevent hostility or bullying toward the original poster (OP). Reminder: recipes are not required or mandatory (except if the post has the ‘Recipe’ flair). **Please report any comments asking for a recipe.**
If you ask for a recipe on this post, your comment will be removed and repeat offenders may be banned.

Can we start a petition to remove the no recipe flair? I seriously don’t understand why we’re encouraging gate keeping

if i don’t want to share my recipe, especially if i make money from a particular thing, i am not going to and the “no recipe” flair is to keep from getting 500 comments that just say, “recipe please?” like they do on fking fb.

google and then put your own tweaks on it.

  6. I don’t love the “No-Recipe Provided” flair/rule. but at least this one isn’t AI.

Oh look, another useless post. Pretty pictures, and that is all. No discussion, no recipe, no value.

The mods have turned this sub into a clone of the dessertporn type subs. Good job… 🤦🏻‍♀️ Enjoy the useless pics and AI slop.

I would have no self control around those.

I really don’t understand the hate towards the “No-recipe” rule.
If it’s AI or OP is a bot, then it’s understandable, but some comments are getting petty to an extreme when people simply don’t want to write out a recipe. I thought there was always the golden rule of: *You don’t owe them an explanation*. After all, it’s called r/baking, not r/bakingrecipes.

    Downvote me all you want.
