I didn’t originally share the recipe because I posted that late at night, just wanted to see some love for my cookies! Not a bot or with the AI slop, promise you. Here is the recipe though, since a lot of you clearly disliked the OG flair!
INGREDIENTS
– 1 cup (2 sticks/226g) of softened SALTED (this makes them so much better i swear!) butter
– 1 cup (200g) of granulated sugar
– 1 cup (200g) of dark brown sugar (chewier end product, can use 2 cups of white instead)
– 2 room temperature eggs
– 1 tbsp (15ml) vanilla extract
– 3/4 cup (80g) of dutch-process cocoa powder
– 2 cups (250g) of AP flour
– 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
– 1 tsp (5g) baking soda
INSTRUCTIONS
– Preheat the oven to 350*
– Cream the butter in a bowl (i used a stand mixer), then add the sugar and cream till just combined
– Add the eggs and vanilla, mix till lighter color and smoother, fluffier texture
– In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients then slowly mix with the wet ingredients. DO NOT OVER MIX!!! The dough will be the same texture as the insides of a cooked fudgy brownie!
– Scoop tablespoon ish sized balls onto a baking pan and bake for 10 minutes. I find that turning the pan halfway through results in a more even, beautiful bake!
-Once baked, allow them to slightly cool on the pan, transfer to a wire rack once they easily come off the pan.
This makes about 35 cookies, they are delicious!

Was it a shit ton of bots?
People lost their ever loving shit!
Sorry you experienced that negativity! Thank you so much for posting; I could tell that yours didn’t have choc chips which made me imagine them as like those big soft Oreo-dupes almost! Definitely trying soon. 🙂
Thank you for sharing I am excited to try!
Thank you for sharing the recipe, will make these cookies 🤤🙏
Thank you so much for sharing the recipe. I’m absolutely going to make these. I also really appreciate the details such as saying do not over mix.
I didn’t leave a comment on the OG post but happy to see this posted with the recipe now!
Can I add chocolate chips? These look yummy. Might try them out tonight, also is light brown sugar okay? Thats all I have atm
Those look fire I’m definitely going to Makin some when I can.
How similar are these to a crinckle cookie, where you roll them in powder sugar before baking?
would dark chocolate chips work better the milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips if I wanted to add them?
These looks amazing, I will be trying!!
I have a recipe like this that also has chocolate frosting.
These look super delicious! I’m looking forward to trying them out. I’m sorry your previous post got so many bad comments.
I haven’t seen or heard of dark brown sugar.
Maybe adding blackstrap molasses to brown sugar would do? Or there might not be a difference between regular brown sugar and dark.
My pregnancy sweet tooth thanks you!!!! I’m definitely trying these.
I feel like I want to add toffee bits to these.
Thank you for the recipe!
I didn’t see your original post but think these look delicious and appreciate you sharing the recipe!
Hi OP, do you have a metric version of your recipe? (I just wanted to ask you directly before attempting to convert online since cups to grams conversions vary so much.)
I’ve used a recipe close to this, but it adds 2 teaspoons of espresso powder. It makes the chocolate flavor pop. Have you ever tried it?
Thanks for your recipe.
