Do only the small pods fit in it and what do you even call the small pods on the website it just says original and I want to try some of the fun flavors and feel like i’m going insane i’ve tried googling but am more confused. But i got a new machine that I’m waiting to use when I move but I want to be sure that I don’t have to just use the small pods in that one I’ve attached photos please help hahaha

Original is the name of the small capsules, and Vertuo is the name of the bigger ones. Seems like you purchased a VPop, it uses the Vertuo capsules. You can always reach out to the customer service for guidance’s on which coffee to try and what’s compatible with your machine(s).
OP you said you’ve got a new machine right? Then it comes with a pack of sample pods. It only comes with the pods that fit your machine. Notice that the opening only fits the pods that came with your machine? That’s all you can use. But I highly recommend that you open the instruction manual because it sounds like you haven’t done any of that yet.
The machine you have only fits the small “Original” pods and not the “Vertuo” Pods.
There are fun flavors that come in original size and the original pods have quite a big supply of Starbucks or other brand pods.
It’s really not that confusing? Original line are small capsules vertuo line are big capsules. Maybe do a little research

Go to the Nespresso site and you’ll see a section for Original and a section for Vertuo. The Original are small capsules with a flat bottom. Vertuo are pods that are half round, flat bottom, large and of various heights.
Each line fits different machines. You have a machine that fits Original capsules. It probably only makes 2 sizes— lungo or espresso. I think I have this same machine.
The flavors for both the Vertuo and original lines are often similar but named differently. I also have a Vertuo and it’s annoying to try to figure out which Vertuo pod is the same or similar flavor as my favorite Original capsules.
Can you be clear about which machine you actually purchased? The first picture is an Original machine and the second picture is a Vertuo machine.
