Pistachio macarons.

They are not green because I was out of food dye and was lazy to get some.

Who cares. lol. Those looking amazing. Good job.

  3. The natural green color you have there is far prettier and more appetizing to me than if you’d used food coloring. I’d eat the whole plate without shame or breathing between bites.

I am new to macaron baking. How did you grind the pistachios and did you then add the bits after you sifted the flour, powdered sugar, and cream of tartar? They do look amazing!

I would love to have one! They look even better without the artificial looking color from food dye.

Well the actual pistachio have pale shell and green inside, so i think this is pretty spot on haha!

  7. How did you manage? The one time I tried to make pitacho macarons with ground pistachio instead of almond the the dough started to curdle!

  8. A tiny bit of gold leaf would look so pretty on the natural green base

The natural color of those macarons is quite charming; they look delicious and inviting.
