Yes! Habanero Hot Lemon had one twin fruit last summer. Seen just a couple other posted pictures of other twins after that. I have no clue to what caused it. The plant is still alive today and has no defects and wasnt stressed when it grew.
I got a few of these on my bell peppers this winter. When it happens it usually seems to happen to a bunch of fruits on one plant. They often have lots of thise little green thingers inside.

Yep. It happens. I’ve had tomatoes fuse themselves together. Nature is purty cool.
