100% would smash this plate but the plating aspect, of which is the namesake of this group, looks like it was slopped together in an elementary school cafeteria by a disgruntled hamster going through withdrawals

Pretty good! Not very neat, though.
Purée can take cool shapes, if you take the time to pipe or shape it in a mold. I’d do that. The sauce also looks haphazardly placed, maybe just fixing the purée would change that perception.
The garnish on top of the stake looks soggy and unevenly cut. Look up chiffonade cut and give it some height.
