I don’t know, but I’d probably want it cooked a little less watery than that. Looks like it’s drenched in stock

Absolutely. We normally put 4-6 away for the year for two of us. Had rump roast with tators and carrots yesterday. I got a salvage deer this year that had been hit by a car but we put down. It must have been hurt for five days or so. Back straps looked like fresh blue fin tuna. Crazy dark red and texture on it. I’m assuming dehydration and stress. Tasted just fine though. Was assuming it would be tough but it was backstrap.

Love venison. The wife and I eat it as our primary red meat source. ❤️🦌

Use the word “venison” it sounds exotic and you’ll get more upvotes.

Doesnt deer normally have to be cooked to a higher temperature? Asking honestly
You know the difference between a beer nut and a deer nut?
Beer nuts are about $3.50. Deer nuts are just under a buck
